Week 35

Charade (1963)
To celebrate the centenary year of Universal studios this year, EFAS is proud to show one of its finest, most stylish and witty classics. Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn sizzle with charisma as they play two strangers in Paris who are going to be united in a thoroughly enjoyable adventure, mixing suspense, romance and thrills!

The White Ribbon (2009)
Michael Haneke's remarkable Palme d'Or winning film works on many levels. It is at once a visually stunning homage to the photography of August Sander, a moody tale about things which begin to slowly get stranger and stranger in a German village at the turn of the 20th century, and a deep examination of class conflicts, generational transitions, guilt, innocence, indoctrination, and Vergangenheitsbewältigung.
