The Apartment: A timeless tale of the everyman, this has some great play on the themes of office politics and a simple man still desperately hoping to move up in the world which all make it a classic, but I must say I do not like the ending which feels like a cop-out.
Persepolis: I had read Satrapi's autobiographical graphic novel series and was a big fan, no surprise that I enjoyed her own animated adaptation of her extraordinary coming of age story.
